Cornelius Publix is now open

The new Publix in Cornelius is now open.

The supermarket's eighth North Carolina store is located at 8315 Magnolia Estates Drive in the Magnolia Plaza shopping Center. Like many other Publix stores, the newest one is less than half a mile from competitor Harris Teeter.

According to its website, the 50,323 square-foot Cornelius supermarket is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. It also includes a pharmacy open seven days a week.

By 2016, Publix will have 15 locations in the Charlotte area along with stores in Asheville and Cary.

Really it's not like you make a big deal out of any other business opening. Is Publix paying you for all this attention? If so,you should inform us this is a paid advertisement. I lived in Florida for years folks. There is nothing special about Publix.
