The Charlotte area's second-largest mall will open on Easter Sunday for the first time this year, according to a mall representative.
Concord Mills will be open from noon to 7 p.m. on April 20.
"Concord Mills' Easter opening will provide local shoppers and area visitors more time to shop and save,” said Ray Soporowski, general manager at Concord Mills, in a statement. "We look forward to meeting the needs of families who will choose to spend their day enjoying our unique brand of shopping with great retail, dining and entertainment options all under one roof."

________
If that is your only logic, why not be open 24/7/365? Shop and save...you know..the important things in life.
Open on Easter?! Jesus must be spinning in his......oh yeah. Never mind.
Shop till you drop, no need to worry about what happens after that.
Greed, Greed, Greed.
Oh, and also keeping your employees away from their families on a major religious holiday.
I, for one, will refuse to shop on Easter... as I already do on Thanksgiving for the same reason. Show that you really appreciate your employees and let them celebrate with their families!
