The store will sell antiques, unique home accessories and a "personalized purchasing experience" where shoppers can customize their own furniture.
LAM Home is operated by architectural and design firm LAM Studios. LAM Studio President Lorraine Mulligan and her team have completed design projects in both home and commercial interior spaces -- using "classic design elements" with a modern twist -- all over the country and Canada since the early 1990s.
The grand opening of the store will take place from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. at its new space in the Funderburk Building, located at 159 North Trade Street. Light hors d’oeurves and refreshments from local restaurants like Santé and the Black Chickenwill be served.
