Charlotte Premium Outlets adds 12 more stores

Charlotte Premium Outlets has added another dozen stores to its lineup, as the 400,000-square-foot mall approaches its July 31 opening date.

The Steele Creek-area mall, a joint venture of Simon Property Group and Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, said the new stores include:
  • Michael Kors
  • Nike Factory Store
  • Tommy Hilfiger
  • Famous Footwear
  • Hartstrings
  • Hot Topic
  • Torrid
  • Gymboree
  • New Balance
  • Tilly's
  • Crocs
  • Dressbarn
You can find a complete listing of the mall's stores online here. The mall is supposed to have more than 100 stores, anchored by an outlet version of Saks Fifth Avenue.

Simon owns SouthPark mall and Concord Mills, while Tanger owns eponymous outlets including malls in Mebane and Blowing Rock.

The new Charlotte outlet mall is expected to employ about 900 workers.

You need a DirectTools store to round this out.

Man those are all cr*p. Where's Neiman Marcus Last Call, or at least a Zegna or a Canali?

Glad I'm going to NYC during sample sale season - hope to pick up some Isaia and maybe a couple pair of Crockett & Jones shoes.

I concur, this list isnt very premium. I would think premium as Tory Burch, Cole Haan, not Famous Footwear

Exactly - more non-premium brands for these "Premium" outlets. This place is going to be a joke. I was excited about it at first, but I doubt I'll ever even visit after seeing the latest lists of new tenants.

Cole Haan was previously announced, although they've moved seriously down-market qualitywise since being bought (and sold) by Nike. It's hard to believe Edward Green used to make some of CH's shoes. Their Bragano label, made in Italy, featured some nice stuff too but that was like 20 years ago.

My advice: set up an eBay search for "Cole Haan Made In England" and look for shoes by Edward Green, as well as Cheaney and Crockett & Jones, masquerading under the Cole Haan name.

How about a Tiger Direct computer store? We have no computer store like Tiger Direct or the old CompUSA in Charlotte.
Have to drive 2+ hours to Raleigh location or 3+ hours NE of Atlanta.
I like to compare CPUs and parts in person over ordering online.

Thomas Cardwell - try ATD Computers near Northlake.

thanks, I'll check them out

I love seeing new stores pop up in town. It is nice to get new additions to the variety of items available nearby. Not to mention having more stores with sales is always welcome.
