Cost Plus World Market grand opening in Cotswold Village

Cost Plus World Market, a new store at Cotswold Village, has its grand opening scheduled for Thursday, with events and giveaways planned through the weekend.

The store is the retailer's fourth Charlotte-area location. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 9 a.m. Thursday, with doors opening immediately afterwards.

Thursday through Sunday, the first 200 customers each day will receive a free tote bag. Free tastings and live entertainment are scheduled for 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Daily raffles will also be held.
