A new Tommy Bahama Outlet will open at Concord Mills later this year, mall officials said in a press release.
The store will be located near the Books-a-Million and the food court in the malls, and will open sometime this fall. It's the first Tommy Bahama Outlet in the state, according to the mall.
"This soon to open new addition will provide shoppers with an incredible selection of the brand’s luxurious island-inspired clothing and home accessories at affordable prices, including polos, graphic tees, sweaters, dresses, swimwear, fragrances, shoes, candles and more," said Concord Mills officials.
Last week, Concord Mills also announced it will soon have a Journey Kidz shoe store and an Aerosoles outlet open in the mall.
The attraction to the yuppiestyle 'Tommy Bahama' is puzzling. It was kinda new and fun intially, but a whole house of this stuff? yuck.

Wonder what "affordable" means, in this context? T.B. clothing is out of reach to most middle-class shoppers. Well over a hundred dollars for a casual shirt? I don't think so.
ReplyDeleteThe word "Outlet" is used to draw you in, but the prices will not be any lower.
ReplyDeletemy favorite clothing store..yes
ReplyDeleteYeaahhhh, I'm gonna have to go ahead and wonder who cares???
ReplyDeleteGet a job.
Their clothes are of lousy quality.
ReplyDeleteI bought 4 pairs of their shorts and all fell apart in the same place around the back pockets -- clearly a manufacturing defect.
The company would not stand behind them, told me to pound sand.
Anonymous @ 9:04 is absolutely correct. The only real bargains at outlet stores will occasionally be found hanging on the clearance racks tucked into the back corner of the store. And even then, the deals are limited to out of season clothes.
ReplyDeleteHawaiian shirt Friday. Oh Yea.
ReplyDeleteWho cares. I want FYE back.
